We Give Back to the Community

Welcome to MIT AEPi’s campaign to support Save a Child’s Heart!

 Our Goal

Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Save a Child’s Heart (www.saveachildsheart.org), a humanitarian project that pays for sick children from developing countries to receive life-saving heart surgeries in Israel. The project also provides training programs for medical personnel in developing countries. All doctors and personnel work as volunteers.

If we achieve our goal of raising $5,000, our local alumni will donate an additional $5,000 to Save a Child’s Heart, doubling the impact of your tax-deductible donation. $10,000 is enough to cover all the expenses associated with a child’s heart surgery.

PIE

We at MIT AEPi are very committed to reaching our goal. For months, we’ve been planning an awesome fundraising event. On May 9th our efforts will culminate in PIE, an event in which student leaders (ourselves included!) will get pied in the face to raise money for and awareness of Save a Child’s Heart.

PIE will take place in front of the Student Center on May 9. Look out for us in the Student Center and Lobby 10 in the weeks leading up to our fundraiser!
